Join the Cinema Society of Kingston for a summer-long series of book-to-screen film adaptations -- a discussion group for cinephiles and book lovers alike! Each film has been specially chosen by a member of our programming committee, who will be facilitating a post-screening book-club style discussion to reflect on the processes of adaptation and interpretation. Having read the book is not a requirement! Whether you've read the book, seen the film, or just want to enjoy a night out with some stimulating conversation, all are welcome to attend! And for those wanting to hit the books, we suggest visiting a branch of our excellent public library, or patronizing either of our local bookstores - Novel Idea and Berry & Peterson.
