Series hosted by <a href="https://purlinjs.ca/">Purlin’ J’s Yarn Emporium</a> and <a href="https://www.screeningroomkingston.com/csok">The Cinema Society of Kingston</a>: Bring your knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross stitch, or other handicrafts, plus your crafty friends for a cozy afternoon at the movies. Tickets include an entry for a prize raffle and lights will be dim so you can see the screen and your skeins! <em>Dead Poets Society</em> follows a group of students in 1959 at the elite, all boys boarding school, Welton Academy. Inspired by their charismatic new English teacher, John Keating (Robin Williams), the boys learn to “seize the day” but Keating’s unconventional teaching style rankles the more conservative school administration.
